So, I'm sitting at home a few Saturdays ago and the phone rings. Kelly Regan's assistant asks me to photograph a visit by Michael Ignatieff to her riding in Beford.
I started off my career, oh so many, many years ago as a press photographer, so I thought this might be fun; in a nostalgic sort of way. And it was!
It was a very hectic, crowds swelling, elbowing out other cameras, adrenaline rushing, kind of morning. I shot more than my share of the back of other people's heads. The back of my head was probably in a lot of shots. But at the end of the day, I got what I had come for. A little press action and more than a few interesting photos of the Liberal leader's vsit to our province.
Thanks Kelly for the opportunity.
