Sweet Frankie
I love when old clients refer me to new clients. It tells me I am doing something right and photography, as much as any industry, is built on referrals. I particularly love when the new clients are as sweet as Amanda and Rob and have a child as adorable as Frankie.

Beautiful girls
I went to Toronto last weekend to visit a dear friend and photograph her new baby girl. Her 4 year old is gorgeous so I was expecting great things from the new one. They did not disappoint; this is one good looking family. I got in plenty of baby cuddles, and maybe a glass of wine or two with Donna while I was there; life is good.

Public Gardens Now open!

Wel, the park has actually been open for a few weeks but I've been too busy to blog much. I love working on Spring Garden Road so much. The nice restaurants, coffee shops, shopping... but it's the parks that really make me happy. Last Saturday I took a great family to the Public Gardens on a whim. So much better than being stuck in the studio. Even if it is an amazing space, if I do say so myself!

Superhero.

My friend, Kris, is a super hero. She is a cardiac anesthesiologist, something so big and important I had to look up the spelling on google. She is also a mom to five beautiful children. A really good mom, too. Kris is also a step mother to four more amazing kids. That's right, NINE of 'em in total. So when Kris calls for me to do family photos, my first instinct is to run in the other direction. But yesterday was a beautiful sunny day here in Halifax and she wanted to meet at York Redoubt and I said big hell yes! TJ and Kris you make a wonderful family!

A Sporting Kind of Family

I love when a client comes to me with an interesting idea. I love it even more when I am able to pull it off for them. These guys were so much fun to work with.
