Hair Design Centre does it again.

I love going to HDC in Clayton Park for the end of year makeup applications. The premise is, graduating makeup artists bring in models; hair and makeup gets done and I photograph beautiful people being beautiful. Not a tough gig at all. The students end up with portfolio shots and I usually end up with one or two for my own portfolio.

It's getting hot in here!

I have been fortunate enough to work on some very interesting projects in the past but an HRM firefighters calendar? Seriously, does it get any better? I spent the day yesterday at the Nova Scotia Firefighters School in Waverley shooting beautiful men in rubber boots and suspenders. Cyril Lunney of BT was one of them. The rest I'm keeping under wraps until the calendar launch and then I will share.

WARNING! Obnoxious parent ahead. Most of you know how much a brag about my children. I figure, if not me then who! So let me begin...Katie and her friend Elizabeth hadn't slept in days from the excitement. Donna Bramley of Makeup Originals and Edijs Ozolin of Ozilins Hair Salon were coming in to get the girls glammed up for a photo shoot. I heard each of them say more than once they felt "famous" from all the attention. And the result was nothing short of spectacular, and nothing less than I would expect from these amazing professionals. Thank you Donna and Edijs!
